Our Story
Fred James and Dave Guethlein (known as 2Blues) bring an authentic sound of music and entertainment to any venue of size. Fred James is originally from Vicksburg, Mississippi and Dave Guethlein is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. They are quality seasoned musicians and songwriters that are bringing their music to the people of southern Indiana and Louisville KY. Dave plays outstanding lead guitar using his custom Fender Strat, while Fred plays rhythm guitar, and lead vocals. Together it's like making magic with music.
Fred and Dave came together and called themselves 2Blues because their sound has a blues flavor style. Whether it's an old classic, a current favorite, or an original, there is a southern blues sound that instantly takes the music to another place. This unique sound separates 2Blues from any other act in southern Indiana.
2Blues is working to continue booking venues in the southern Indiana and Louisville KY area. They book private parties as well. They are working on a CD to provide during their performances, as well as online.
